Most owners don't need more information — they need clarity on what actually matters and the confidence to act on it. SHS Legal exists to be that steady, practical partner: someone who understands both the legal and business sides of a decision and can help you move forward without second-guessing.
We work primarily with law firms, medical and health-related businesses, and service-based companies. Across all of them, the pattern is similar: the business has grown around the owner's expertise, but the contracts, systems, and strategy haven't caught up. That's the gap we help close.

Legal strategy as a strategic advantage
For more than a decade, I have helped businesses navigate complex legal challenges with one guiding principle: legal strategy should advance business objectives, not stand in the way of them.
My career began in the courtroom where I developed a strong foundation as a trial attorney handling high-stakes litigation. Since then, I have represented insurers, corporations, law firms, and business owners in a broad range of commercial, insurance, property, and liability matters. From developing litigation strategy and negotiating favorable resolutions to managing risk and advising executive leadership, I have always approached every legal issue through a business lens—asking not only what the law permits, but what best serves the organization’s long-term goals.
As my practice evolved, so did my passion for helping businesses before disputes arise. That vision led me to found SHS Legal, an attorney-led strategic advisory firm that partners with law firms, healthcare organizations, and service-based businesses to strengthen operations, reduce legal risk, negotiate critical contracts, implement scalable systems, and provide ongoing Fractional General Counsel services.
Today, I combine the insight of an experienced litigator with the perspective of a business strategist. Having seen firsthand the financial and operational costs of preventable legal issues, I help organizations build stronger foundations, make informed decisions, and grow with confidence. Whether serving as outside general counsel, advising leadership teams, or optimizing legal and operational processes, my focus remains the same: delivering practical, business-minded legal solutions that protect what clients have built while positioning them for what’s next.
